The Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Has Been Technically Re-Equipped

With the support of the “Stepan Gishyan” Charitable Foundation, the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute has been replenished with 120 radio and 45 new audio guides. The audio guides are available in five languages: English, Russian, French, German and Chinese. Spanish and Italian will also be added soon.

“This investment is very important for the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, as it increases the efficiency of the museum’s activity. For example, by means of radio guides, several tour guides can work simultaneously in the hall and serve large groups without noise and without disturbing each other, while the audio guide helps to become your own guide by determining the pace of the tour,” noted Anna Gishyan, Director of the “Stepan Gishyan” Charitable Foundation.

“The ‘Stepan Gishyan” Foundation is one of those institutions that constantly supports the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute. We implemented the first joint project in 2020, when with the support of the “Stepan Gishyan” Foundation we acquired projectors, which are used in the museum to this day. This is our second successful cooperation, thanks to which we received 120 radio guides and 45 audio guides,” notes Hrachya Tashchyan, Acting Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.

The “Stepan Gishyan” Charitable Foundation was established by ACBA Bank, French Credit Agricole, Credit Agricole National Federation and the Stepan Gishyan family. The Foundation’s programs are aimed at strengthening Armenian-French ties, improving and perfecting Armenia’s socio-economic, scientific-educational, cultural and healthcare systems.
